Gazebo on Lake Vermillion

B.S. Architecture

The gazebo created for this project has a program which requires that allof its pieces be able to fit in the back of a Ford-F150. The reason forthis requirement is that it is meant to be taken up to a north woods sitein one truckload, and be put together by two people. In addition to fittingthis requirement, it also fits seven criteria for ‘better’ architecture. These includes being ‘green’, efficient, economical, portable, long-lasting,functional, and beautiful. The materials, as well as the efficient design ofthe gazebo, helps to achieve these criteria.
