Kremlin’s Beef Palace is designed as a packaging series for a fast-food company that promotes the industry’s greasy, fat loving roots. Through lots of sketching and bizarre mental connections, the idea of using famous figures and quotes from Communist history to sell America’s favorite guilty pleasure seemed like a perfectly ironic connection. I picture how disgusted these great Communist thinkers might be seeing their philosophies and images used to sell the ultimate in capitalistic excess. The series is meant to be humorous, but also respected as a set of high quality, viable packaging.
