These paintings are a selection of work from Architecture in Watercolor with Monica Fogg. Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris was the highlight of my trip to Paris, and The Cathedral of St. Paul has always been my highlight of St. Paul. The sheer size of both buildings instills in me a sense of grandeur, as it is impossible to visit either cathedral without stopping and looking up in admiration. While the structural elements are stunning, the representation of prayer and worship are even more important. Two Cathedrals exhibits the importance of the ephemeral qualities in the history of both places.
