Peter's Love for Wendy

Playful and personalized designs stem from the creative imagination of University of Minnesota senior Ashley Wokasch. The current co-owner of the local clothing company Calpurnia Peach, an adventurous young contemporary women’s line best known for their innovative textile screen printing. Calpurnia Peach has appeared in Voltage Fashion Amplified, Minnesota History Museum Retrorama, Clapperclaw Festival and La Nouvelle Femme. The imaginary worlds portrayed in J.M. Barrie’s novel Peter and Wendy inspires this piece. Peters love for Wendy is a thimble placed around her neck, this three layer thimble screen print when worn makes you feel in love.
